Is Your Wedding On Trend?

TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com creator, XO Group Inc., has released their annual “Real Weddings Study.”  The study surveyed 17,500 US brides in 2012 and one of the most notable results showed that wedding budgets have started to increase.  The economy is no longer a factor for most brides when planning their wedding.  How does your wedding planning and budget stack up to the results?

  • Average wedding cost in 2012 was $28,427 (not including the honeymoon)
  • Average wedding dress purchase price in 2012 was $1,211
  • Wedding photography cost in 2012 was $2,379
  • Venue cost in 2012 was $12,905
  • Wedding cake cost in 2012 was $560
  • Groom’s tuxedo cost in 2012 was $230
  • Engagement ring cost in 2012 was $5,431

Most brides-to-be dream of a wedding spectacular; one that people will talk about for years to come.  To pull off such a feat, often requires money.  It is no longer just about the bride having a stunning wedding dress, but the entire wedding party has to be styled as well.  After all, if you are spending a pretty penny on your wedding photography, a drab wedding party in your photos is just not going to cut it.  One way to add style is with cufflinks.  Not ordinary cufflinks, but stylish cufflinks such as these:

If you are planning to give your wedding party gifts, their cufflinks can also double as their gift.

What about the ring?  Are you planning on a simple band or something a little more flashy?  Check out some of the rings we have here at Stacy Robinson Studios.  We have something to fit every style!
